  • Language: English
  • ISBN-10: 1897512112
  • ISBN-13: 978-1897512111
  • Product Dimensions: 8.5 x 5.5 x 0.5 inches
  • Price: $16.95

Description

‘Sporadic Memories’ is a novel about a lifestyle that needs to be read about. Within the first few pages you will realize there has been a loss, it is not sad though. The narrator expresses with great enthusiasm the life they lived, which makes it nice during times when it becomes difficult. By the first few pages I hope you can tell that the narrator has been alive a long time, explaining the way it is written.

There is no distinction between the characters genders.

The Part that remembers the time they gave bracelets to one another, brings about another way of coming together…following how their courtship developed and the apple tree that is depicted throughout the novel using it’s fruit. It gets sad for a bit after this, but notice that it gets sad because there is so much more to why the one lost is worth writing about.

It is partly a love story. You know for sure it is when you get to the part about the piano played and music written, you should at least read to the first song.
The memory at the exhibition and recalling times in the rain and snow is next. They travelled a lot together and you will read of a place if you read a little after the description of the surrounding of their home.

If you read to the first birthday mentioned, you will find a recipe worth trying, a poem worth reading, and fireworks. The narrator is a playwright, so there is a play that is broken down throughout the novel…it is a difficult read, but it is important in showing how the two brought their work together, and what differences they made.

Things are repeated to show how important positive repetition is, showing how to move on while remembering especially the passion. This novel is full of passion carried through the love they had for each other, their work, and friends…you might want to read at least until you hear about their friends.

This novel completes the story as the pages go on, putting certain pages together will bring the memories in order.

It is an easy read.

It Is written poetically which gives it justice. It begins the way it ends…
Sporadic Memories is a novel about a life that needs to be read.

Description

A modern Madame Bovary, a seductive wise woman and the eternal question – is the god of Love dead? We have the choice to approach betrayal, love and the illuminations from suffering with the perspective similar to what Newtonian physics provide when we examine nature or, we can expand the radius and inspect these under the microscope of quantum and the telescope of astrophysics. Neither perspective is wrong. But, if you are like me, you’ll find the latter much more elegant! Helena is an ordinary modern woman whose circumstances guide her into extreme choices. Frivolity, more or less, is an aspect of Time and we all indulge in it. But let us not dwell on Helena’s misdemeanours. I urge you, instead, to explore Diotima. Her name is not entirely obscure. Socrates claims she taught him everything he knows about love. Deity and mortal, faced with circumstance Diotima imposes clarity, discipline and a stunning, elegant order against appearances with tenets beyond our normal and rather susceptible, narrow-scope consciousness.

Someday, she must wake up to reality, though Ellie no longer has any idea what reality is. She only knows that Robert must play an important part in her future. Description

These provocative stories follow a series of teenage heroines coming of age in the 1980s–a decade full of big hair, make out parties, material girls, and radical surfers. The young women here grapple with the mysteries of young love, sex, death, and parents. With humor and generosity, Kerr investigates what it means to be an adolescent girl as her protagonists face down bad reputations, drunken perverts, fist-fights and, of course, killer bears.

In the waning months of World War II, the allied armies advance upon the crumbling German war machine like a juggernaut. In a final desperate bid to save the Fatherland, a plan is conceived that could turn the tide of the war-the completion of an advanced jet-propelled bomber capable of delivering a deadly payload to the shores of America.

Captain Griff Avery of the OSS has just botched the defection of a prominent German physicist, a man crucial to the Nazi end game, letting him fall into the hands of the rogue SS General masterminding the plot. But Avery’s troubles have only just begun: overwhelming evidence points to the woman he loves as the German spy who foiled the defection. Now under suspicion himself, Avery sifts through the lies and deceit, uncovering the treacherous German operation.

Against orders and on the run, Avery is forced to wage a secret war of his own, recruiting the crew of a B-17 Flying Fortress and a reckless group of flyboys and their P-51 Mustangs to help him hunt down the secret SS cell and prevent the slaughter-no matter what the cost.

Description

Dante’s Lady begins with the demise of the Earl of Ravensmoor, Nathan Burroughs. Tormented by images of a love that he lost decades prior, the earl pleads upon his deathbed with his grandson. He longs for one simple favor to be completed with his death, for each of his heirs to await the return of his long lost lady love. Desperate to appease the dying man, the grandson agrees to await the return of the Raven’s Lady. Despite the passage of centuries, each Earl of Ravensmoor assigns the quest to each of his heirs.
Dante Burroughs, despite his disbelief and scorn toward the task, has carried on the family quest into the present. Unfortunately, he suffers from one slight quirk which his own ancestors have failed to divulge. He has been, for the majority of his life, plagued by vivid dreams of his great grandsire’s love. Despite every desperate attempt that he has made to go on with his own life, the nightly dreams have become more intense, more haunting with every passing year. Dante feels as if he has been cursed, forever tormented by the images of a woman who seduces his every dream, the whispery softness of her image tormenting his waking hours. Dante has began to sense that she is a woman he knows he will never encounter.
On a business trip to Phoenix, Arizona, Dante encounters the vision of his ancestor’s lady in his own offices. The drama begins when he desperately wishes to bring Kathleen Bennett into his life, despite the fact that he is a lord of the realm and she refers to herself as ‘just his secretary’. Dante is tortured by the love he feels for the woman of his dreams, but tormented at the same time by the thought that she does not seem to understand the unspoken bond in which they share.

But my moving boxes were still not unpacked and I thought what a mess a raccoon could make. So I thought, ‘I really don’t want a raccoon. I would like to have a skunk.’ Notice the descriptive word ‘pet’ doesn’t enter this picture? Thirty skunk stories of how a joyful heart-to-heart bond with an orphaned skunk brought me back to life.
