Set in southern Spain in the First Century BC, Libertas introduces the people who live in the idyllic mountain community of Munda and the ancient Kemeletoi people who thrive in the surrounding countryside. But the world is ruled by Rome, whose generals have a score to settle – Julius Caesar has force-marched eight crack legions from Italy to subdue the sons of Pompey, and two huge armies will clash in the wide upland valley that stretches before Munda. The final, savage battle of a remorseless struggle for world dominance. A battle that will leave 30,000 dead and a community devastated. But there is an unlikely hero who refuses to give in to the despair and horror of war, who believes his family can be rescued from slavery, who refuses to accept that Roman cruelty and greed have changed his beloved Munda forever. This is a story of bravery, love, invention and hope.

Description
Sequel to Forced Mate. When His High and Mightiness Prince Tarrant-Arragon decreed that a shotgun Royal wedding should take place between his political liability of a sister and a defeated rival, no one imagined that the sister would do something even more scandalous as her groom limped up the aisle towards her.
“A powerful romance laced with devastating family secrets, treachery, and a sizzling passion hot enough to singe your fingers as you turn the pages.” ~ Billie Jo, Romance Junkies.
Fewmet!
Shot down… for failing to mate in public. Marooned on an island with the ultimate fashionista, who wouldn’t take off her clothes to save her own life, Djetth discovers that when a Tiger prince is honor bound to hide his true identity, when his best tool of seduction bears a damning tattoo, and his very life is in danger, survival isn’t just a matter of making out.
Someone is trying to kill them.
But even in the outrageously wicked Tigron Empire, who would dare to attack a royal princess and her consort? So what if she had spectacularly rejected his hand and privately turned up her pretty nose at his other princely parts? With the aid of two exiled empresses acting as psychic sleuths, some misplaced guitar glue, and a talent for disguises, he would unmask a killer and prove that this was certainly not a case of…. Insufficient Mating Material.
What a fantastic read! A book full of possibilities, humor, intrigue and action. I loved it! I always knew survival had many erotic and exciting possibilities. Rowena Cherry proved it with INSUFFICIENT MATING MATERIAL!”

Description
My first book was FORCED MATE. It’s a chess title for a race between the two Kings to make a pawn his Queen, and was written as a loving spoof of the Historical Romance genre. I took every traditional situation in an abduction/obligatory-travel romance and made the hero an all-powerful, alpha-male alien, a god-Prince with a nasty reputation.
CHECKMATE
By all the Lechers of Antiquity, what was a god-Emperor to do when his chosen mate was caught on tape speculating that he was a brute and a bore in bed?
Renowned for his sexual prowess all over the galaxy, Prince Tarrant-Arragon had a reputation for depravity to keep up, even if the reality of his private life was a far different story. His personal inclination would be to woo his intended with charm and wit, but politics and Tigron tradition called for abduction followed by swift consummation. Embarking on a skilled seduction with as many moves as an interstellar chess match, Tarrant-Arragon felt confident in his ability to take his queen. But he hadn’t counted on the unpredictability of his little Earthling, or the startling fact that she would make a pawn of his own heart.

Description
The fate of three worlds is intertwined, that of men, dragons and demons. The time is fast approaching when the fabric separating the worlds will become sufficiently thin for demons to cross the divide once again, but the people are largely ignorant of this, preferring forgetfulness rather than confronting their fears. The Eldric, saviours of previous wars, have mysteriously disappeared from the world of men, leaving crumbling ruins where once stood proud cities. Vastra, recklessly ambitious and driven by greed for power, seeks an Eldric talisman and recruits Kaplyn and Lars to gain it. Together the three men unravel an ancient secret that could doom them all. The evil that is Trosgarth is spreading across the land, monarchs are slain to deny the Prophecy from coming to pass, Priest of Ryoch are trained to communicate via their Shaols (their guardian spirits), while grakyn and krell gather in the remote regions of the world. As yet the drums of war beat quietly but all too soon they will call aloud for all out war and who then will be ready….

Description
Munich in 1933, the year of Hitler’s rise to power, saw a last-ditch fight by German democracy and the beginning of the Nazi attempt to destroy the soul of mankind. In the front line were the German Expressionist painters, who painted from the soul and were therefore declared ‘degenerate’. Against this background, the novel traces the journey of Gerhard Glaser, art lover and lawyer. Glaser was Public Prosecutor in the case of Geli Raubal, Hitler’s niece and, Glaser believes, his first murder victim. Haunted by his failure in the Raubal case, Glaser tries to find Hitler’s drawings of Geli and solve the murder of the Jewish art dealer who had them, in an attempt to bring Hitler to account within the law. But matters will not stop there …A thought-provoking novel about German resistance to Hitler in the 1930s which will appeal to a wide range of readers. Michael Dean, a highly experienced author of non-fiction and screenplays, approaches a disturbing period with skill and sensitivity.

I’ve tagged all three of yours and I’m dead jealous. All those tags, dammit!!

Is this only for authors that reside in the UK?
Would someone living in Australia, but whose book is set in the UK be eligible?

Just tagged for Brian’s Whispering book. If Brian is listening, you don’t appear to have entered your own tags. I just typed in the tags you requested, and seem to be the only one.
Hey, Alistair, you can add as many tags for yourself as the system will take without burping.

I have tagged Alistair and Leona’s books (and my own, of course!).

I have tagged your book on Amazon.co.uk as requested, Matt (always extra pleased to help one of my namesakes!).
Thank you to everyone who has tagged my home-based business book.
Btw, I have also tagged dozens of book on Amazon.com from the other thread on this site.
April 28, 2009 at 10:03 am
Alistair,
Thanks, but are you looking at my Amazon UK tags?
I just checked out FORCED MATE on Amazon.uk and it looks to me like only two people have tagged (and one would be me!).
I’ve not looked at INSUFFICIENT MATING MATERIAL or KNIGHT’S FORK today… yet. Seems like I need to spend a few moments adding author info.
I did add some pictures to the KNIGHT’S FORK page. That’s a lot of fun to do. I wonder if they’re approved yet. Off to see.

Hi Rowena
I was the other tagger, I think. I tagged you everywhere I could in an unusual burst of tagging enthusiasm! Hope it works.

Yes, if you have purchase something from the UK site so that your tags are public.

I’ve just tagged the three UK books that I hadn’t tagged before.
For “A Good Confession” I had to write in the requested tags, because they were not on the highlighted list.
It seems like one purchase counts forever, so it pays to purchase a copy of your own book through Amazon UK (or any other regional Amazon) to provide a review copy to a reviewer in that country, or to send as a prize to a contest-winning reader.
I’ve recently purchased one of my own books from proxis.be If anyone else is selling in Belgium, I’d be happy to cooperate there.
May 18, 2009 at 3:35 pm
My debut novel STOP ME has just been added. Am in the process of tagging everyone’s book on this page. Have only one of my tag words on Amazon UK which is ‘horror.’ Can everyone please tag this one for me for the moment.
Thanks.

Hi Folks,
I have tagged all those above. I thought I had done it earlier as the first two were already tagged when I went into it. But had another look today, and found many that hadn’t been.
I see Ferryman is here on the UK one, please can you tag that one for me. It looks very lonely with only one tag to its name!
Cheers

Carole
I can’t find your book here and when I searched Amazon UK it had no tags – do you want to put them in and then give us all a nudge or shall I? What tags would you like?
Alistair Forrest, author of Libertas
June 7, 2009 at 1:11 pm
Hey Alistair,
I looked up Carole’s book on the site. Her requested US tags are: crime fiction, murder mystery, Cornwall setting.
Carole – what do you think? Do you want me to add your book to the UK site as well?
June 7, 2009 at 6:54 pm
Todd, Carole – all were tagged on amazon US some time ago and then some. I just forgot I’d done it. Must have had a moment of tagging frenzy. Will tag UK when given the nod. Cheers.
June 15, 2009 at 5:34 am
Hi Todd,
Yes please, will you put Ferryman up for tagging on the UK site.
thanks a lot,
Carole
June 15, 2009 at 7:08 am
Hi Alistair,
Thank you for the interest — with luck Ferryman should be visible for tagging on the UK site.
My tags are:
crime fiction, murder mystery, Cornwall setting.
As you say we are a bit thin on the ground. I double checked Libertas, and yes, I see I have tagged it.
Cheers
Carole

Hi Carole
Tagged you on Amazon UK. Sounds like you too refused to have a macho hero! Good luck.
June 17, 2009 at 6:31 pm
Hi everyone,
Am working my way through tags old and new.
Please don’t forget to tag STOP ME
Thanks
Richard Jay Parker

Todd, thank you so much for getting Ferryman working on Amazon UK once more.
I wonder what the problem was. Yes, it would be nice if you had some technical help, I can’t offer, I’m afraid, I’m hopeless at the techy stuff!
Congratulations on your first anniversary with the Time Cavern.
Best,
Carole
June 24, 2009 at 10:31 pm
Just to let everyone know I have been tagging your books, not all but some, not fast but steady, and before I’m through I hope to have tagged all. I don’t let you know individually when I tag because I don’t have the time but please know I’m working on it.
Robert Lee Thompson
June 25, 2009 at 7:46 am
Hi Robert Lee,
Don’t worry you don’t have to tell everyone you have tagged them — as you say that would take a lot of time — the tag numbers speak for themselves.
Alistair,
Ah, yes, you’ve read the Felicity Young review. Good, wasn’t it? As you say, my protagonist is perhaps more human and vulnerable without the macho attributes. Do I take you have created a similar hero?

Hi all,
I have three books for sale on Amazon UK, and I’d be glad to exchange tags. Here are the links:

All of them are available on the French and German Amazon sites as well, if anyone here uses those and feels like tagging me there.
Thanks!
June 27, 2009 at 11:46 pm
I went from the top to the bottom and tagged all listed on this page. All of them were UK. Rowena I think I tagged 3 books for you and Carole I made sure I got yours. I’ll tag a few more tomorrow
June 28, 2009 at 6:00 am
Thank you, Robert Lee — great stuff!
Carole
June 29, 2009 at 7:14 am
Hi Carole
Been away on business and behind with tagging. In answer to your question about ‘vulnerable’ heroes, yes, a young chap by the name of Melqart living in a mountain town in Southern Spain 1stC BCE, unaware (of course) that J Caesar is heading his way with eight legions to biff the sons of Pompey. He’s smart and spiritually aware (or becomes so) and very inventive. Gets into a nasty scrape or two but survives to out-think the baddies in the end. I have a great future mapped out for him but only if Libertas takes off!! How are sales for Ferryman? I think we are all benefiting from Todd’s site (for Amazon US), hope so, and in time the UK site will do the same for sure. Keep the faith.
June 30, 2009 at 2:33 am
Hi William Woodall,
I have just tagged the three books you mention above. As I tag all the ones Todd puts up every week, I wonder how I came to miss them?
If you would like to reciprocate and tag ‘Ferryman’ and ‘And the Devil Laughed’ on the Amazon.co.uk site I would be grateful.
June 30, 2009 at 2:57 am
Hi William,
Yes, it’s me again. I submitted too soon and failed to enter the urls and tags! so, here we go!
Ferryman: tags: murder mystery, Cornwall, crime fiction
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ferryman-Carole-Sutton/dp/184923194X/ref=sr_1_1?ie
And
‘And the Devil laughed’ tags: murder mystery, rape survivor, undercover cop

Hi Carole,
I just tagged your two books, and thanks!
August 2, 2009 at 2:23 pm
Just gone through tagging all the books added since the last time I did this.
Would be nice to have a few more tags on my book (first on the list). Feel free to tag any of the existing categories.
Thanks!

August 3, 2009 at 9:17 am
Hi Matt,
I’ve checked yours out and tagged it today. I thought I had already done it, but that must have been on the US Amazon.
I can’t find anyone else on this list that I haven’t already tagged.
Carole
August 3, 2009 at 3:59 pm
Hi Matthew, Carole
I think we need more UK authors for this section to take off the way Todd has succeeded with Amazon US. I’ve suggested this to a number of UK authors I know but only one has so far signed up. Short of reminding them again, I’m not sure what else we can do. Any ideas?
Alistair

Thanks, Carole. Good to see that tag score edging into double figures at last!
But yes, we definitely need more UK authors around here. I’ll see what else I can do to help publicize this site.

I just got caught up on all of the UK tagging
Rai Aren, co-author of Secret of the Sands
August 16, 2009 at 8:09 pm
This is wonderful, I’ve tagged everyone currently listed! I’m going to add this page to my bookmarks so I can come check on any new people added and tag them too.
Good job everyone!
August 18, 2009 at 3:01 am
Hello, I hope I’m doing this right. Took me a while to figure out where to start. I was trying to find the August 2009 folder but only saw August 2008 so I started with the July 2009. Seemed like as good a place to start as any. I’ve been tagging my way down and will continue until I get caught up. I see some of you have been tagging my choices already. THANK YOU!
Any advice you guys can give me will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
August 18, 2009 at 10:47 am
Hi Jeanie,
I’m not sure, but going by the calendar on the right, I believe all the books listed above our comments are August 2009. Being from the UK, those are the ones I tagged. I need to check through a couple more, but going by the first ones I tried to do, July and earlier months seem to be for US participants.
Tosin
August 18, 2009 at 1:44 pm
Don’t get confused by the calendar on the right. The list above goes back several months, to the very beginning of the Amazon UK page. I know this as my book was the very first to be listed, in May or thereabouts.
The list shows every book that has been listed for tagging on Amazon.co.uk so far, the earliest at the top, the most recent at the bottom.
Hope this helps.

This may seem a bit of a cheek, but I wondered if anyone would mind adding the following tags to the page for my home-based business book:
home based business
work from home
Via this website I have plenty of tags for my main keywords, but it would be great to raise the count for these two other popular tags as well. Here’s the URL again: http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Start-Your-Home-based-Business/dp/0956109101/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1251024810&sr=1-2
Many thanks, and if anyone would like me to return the favour, just let me know.
Matt
August 23, 2009 at 3:22 pm
Hello,
Thanks Tosin and Matt.
Do our submissions get moved somewhere after we post them here? I can’t find my entry above or anywhere on this site. I can’t find my friend Robert Thompson’s either. He posted in June. I see our comment entries but not the book entries.
Thanks,
Jeannie
August 23, 2009 at 6:14 pm
I don’t know the answer to this, I’m afraid. I thought all books that had been submitted for tagging were listed above. I’d suggest asking Todd about this directly.
Matt
August 24, 2009 at 3:50 am
You’re welcome Jeanie, my book has yet to show up here also, but I’m going to look for your name on the submissions page and tag you via the links you put there.
Matt thanks for the indirect tip, I’m about to copy your style and change my ‘website’ to be my amazon.co.uk page too. Makes it easier for people to tag for those of us who are yet to be updated on this page.
My tags: science fiction, spiritual, indigo children
August 24, 2009 at 4:02 am
Hi Jeanie,
just tagged your books (both paper and hardback). I noticed I am the first to tag, meaning you haven’t tagged yourself. Yours do count and it helps to act as a guideline for others who may wish to tag you as you can add as many as you want, not just the three stipulated here.
Also the link you posted in the submission page was to Amazon.com and not the .co.uk I don’t know if that means you’ll be listed amongst the US side of Tag My Book, but I seeing as you posted here, I searched, found and tagged you on .co.uk.
All the best!
August 24, 2009 at 4:44 pm
I’m a taggin’ fool today!! Getting to as many as I can…Thanks for returning the favor…

Just tagged all the latest additions.
By the way, if anyone has a moment, I’d be grateful if you could add the tags “home based business” and “work from home” for my book. Right now there is only one vote for each of these popular terms, and it would be great to get them up to 2 at least!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Start-Your-Home-based-Business/dp/0956109101/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240311981&sr=1-2
Happy to return the favour if required.

August 25, 2009 at 4:12 am
I have checked out the following to see if I had already tagged them as I hear some are not coming through Todd’s despatches, but are independent.
Joyce Akesson: tagged yours oday
Mathew Thomas: I had already tagged yours — tags now reading 14.14.13.9.7.6
Damian Santiago: tagged first 8 today
Tosin Coker: tagged first 8
If you haven’t already done so, folks, I would appreciate your votes on Ferryman at:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ferryman-Carole-Sutton/dp/184923194X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1245685455&sr=8-1
August 25, 2009 at 4:15 am
P.S.
see letter above.
Only the first four tags on Ferryman (Amazon u.k) are relevant — I don’t know where the others came from, but the don’t relate to Ferryman.
August 25, 2009 at 4:48 am
Hi Tosin,
Thank you so much for tagging my book on the UK side. I’m on the U.S. side actually but do appreciate your being my first tagger on the UK side. You’ll always be special to me.
I just returned the favor and tagged all of your tags.
Have a very happy day!
Jeannie

Hi Matt,
Thanks for responding to my note. I just tagged all your tags.
Have a very happy day!
Jeannie
August 25, 2009 at 11:36 am
Thank you Carole dearest! I had already tagged the first four of yours.
August 25, 2009 at 11:47 am
All tagged to date as requested.
Regarding my book, I was just hoping someone might add the tags home based business and work from home, as there is only one vote for each of these right now (and they won’t show unless you click on ‘Show all Tags’).
If I can just get one additional ‘vote’ for each of these tags, it will place my book at the top of the list for the tags concerned, which is why I’m asking. I have so many votes for my main keywords now (for which I’m duly grateful), I’m streets ahead on those anyway!
Thanks again.
Matt
August 26, 2009 at 2:29 am
Hi Matt, I’ve tried to tag these ‘one votes’ you mention, but it doesn’t seem to work. If I go into ’show all tags’ I can see the ones you need boosting, but if you click on them it takes you away from the tagging boxes and I can’t find a way of checking them.
August 26, 2009 at 2:51 am
Hi Tosin and Matt,
I wrote to both of you separately yesterday but I don’t see where my notes went. It’s almost as if I’ve been banished from this site or something. Anyway, I was trying to thank you both and to let you know that I tagged your tags yesterday to return the favor. Also Matt, I was telling you that I’m not in UK but in the US so that’s why hadn’t tagged my UK Amazon page. I followed your suggestion and tagged myself. THANKS.
I hope you guys get this note.
Jeannie
August 26, 2009 at 8:21 am
Thanks, Carole. Amazon don’t make it easy, do they?
As far as I can see, you have to write in the tag concerned in the box under the tags listed on the main page, and click on Add. If you write in work from home, it does then add this to the total for that particular tag. Hope that makes sense!
Actually, two people have now added ‘work from home’ tags, bringing my book up to 3 for that tag. This means my book now appears on top of the list for that tag, so thank you very much, whoever you were!
Matt

Jeannie,
Sorry for the delay – i do repost your submissions onto the main page – it’s there now and I’ve tagged you as well!
September 12, 2009 at 8:54 pm
Hi All,
I don’t know what made me try it, but I went to Amazon.com and using my login details from the UK site, I got in and tagged not only my book, but everyone else’s here and on the US side of this site!
You might want to try doing the same and get a leg up for your book there.
Enjoy your weekend

Worked, thank you Tosin Cocker.

September 19, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Well guys I’ve been following along in discussion about who’s tagging who,or not! I have seen numerous of you post that you are now caught up with tagging, even going back in the archives to us “older” members
here on the site. However comma! I have only seen two (2) additional tags on my books. I’m wondering if perhaps we have a systemic problem occuring? I know that Todd works incessantly trying to ensure that the site is running properly. And to ensure that fairness is being observed. I have personally come on the site once or twice a month since it’s inception and tried to make sure that tag everyone’s book and for those who have many tags listed I click on 7 or 8 of them, but for sure if you only have three,I do click all of them. Regardless of the genre or type of book,in the hopes that I am helping a fellow indie author. Even if I don’t personally like the subject matter of the book. I know full well that I have missed someones book(s) along the way. If I knew which ones I would go back and tag them. Hopefully we will hit apon a solution or a system which will work to all of our benefit. Jacamo
September 20, 2009 at 12:19 am
I tagged your stuff Jacamo. Looks like a good read. Please tag my mom’s book “Alligator Gold”-by Janet Post. I wish you all the success life has to offer.
September 20, 2009 at 2:09 am
I concur Jacamo (have tagged you btw), since having listed here, I have been tagged only twice. It can be a little disheartening, seeing as I’ve tagged not only all the UK authors Amazon.co.uk pages, but their .com equivalents also.
Admittedly after doing all that, plus this and last months US authors, I did zone out and not bother to do those listed in months prior. Ultimately for hour or so I put into tagging, I could have better spent it working on other aspects of self-promotion.
I can only suggest that those who have been on the site for a while, should maybe do as you (Jacamo) have done and give a little bumper post to bring yourself to the forefront for those of us who do actively tag.
Alligator Gold, tagged on both US and UK Amazon sites.

Hey there fellow taggers,
I just got caught up again on all of the books, both here & on the .com (US) site, including TG Powell’s two books that he posted links to. I also click off lots of additional tags on all of the books listed. I just wanted to let you know that I am a faithful tagger & greatly appreciate the return tags

There’s a UK awards site for indies and libraries worth having a look at, The People’s Book Prize, voted by readers. I mention this here in case anyone UK based wants to vote for good old me as my historical novel Libertas has just been nominated for October (: http://www.peoplesbookprize.com/book.php?id=155

October 20, 2009 at 2:49 pm
Hi Carole,
yes, I’ve noticed the same thing! On the US site, the books moved to the ‘Tag you’re it’ page, which doesn’t seem to happen here. Maybe that explains it?
Anyway, thanks for tagging my book! I already tagged yours, and made sure I tagged the other, too!
Good luck with your books! (I love Cornwall, by the way. Lovely place:)
October 26, 2009 at 7:37 pm
Rowena, I just joined this site today. I have tagged your books in the UK!

Joyce and Wendy,
I came through to tag your books but Wendy, I didn’t see what 3 tags you wanted us to put. Joyce, I see no link for your book or the tags you would like.
If you don’t mind my suggesting, a good tip is to put the Amazon link to your book in the website field and whenever you post here mention your tag.
My tags: science fiction, indigo children, spiritual

Hi Joyce,
thanks, I did put the link and tags in my initial post, but here they are once more:

Good luck!

I double checked to make sure I had tagged yours — it was a long time ago, I believe, when I tagged the first four. Anyway while I was there I tagged the remaining 7 tags.
As you say they are slow on the UK site.
You have probably already done mine earlier, Ferryman but in case you haven’t and you do go there — just tag the first four please

An Audience for Einstein
Professor Percival Marlowe is a brilliant, elderly astrophysicist who’s dying, his greatest achievement still unfinished and now beyond his diminished means. Doctor Carl Dorning, a neurosurgeon, finally discovers a secret method of transplanting memories from one person to another, thanks to Marlowe’s millions. Miguel Sanchez, a homeless boy, agrees to become the recipient of Marlowe’s knowledge and personality in this unorthodox experiment, enticed by Dorning’s promises of intelligence, wealth and respect, but dangerously unaware that his own identity will be lost forever. What results is a seesaw battle for control of Miguel’s body, as Marlowe learns to his dismay what his lifetime of arrogance and conceit has earned him. And when Marlowe stumbles upon the shocking procedure Dorning used in desperation to succeed, the professor does what he must to defeat Dorning and redeem himself at last.

Hi Mark,
tried to tag your book book the tag wouldn’t ‘take’. Very odd. I’ll try again later.
Good luck with your book!

I’ve now added the requested tags for Mark’s book. The ones that were there originally were just Amazon’s suggestions, as nobody had tagged the book up till then. Simply clicking on the boxes in this case doesn’t seem to work. You have to write in the tags required yourself, even if they’re already in place as ’suggestions’.
All other tags requested now added, by the way. Thanks to everyone who has tagged my book (top of the list).
